Dogdyke Steam Drainage Station

The only known working example of a steam-operated scoop wheel Fen drainage engine. Beam engine built by Bradley & Craven of Wakefield in 1855 driving a 28ft dia. scoop wheel on the banks of the River Witham. In steam on Open Days.
Also 1940 Ruston & Hornsby-Gwynnes diesel pumping set also operational.
Small museum of drainage artifacts.
